The service

Bookgard is a tool for cataloguing a household's book collection and tracking loans. It is operated by Koskinen IT, Norway, and is at an early («beta») stage — functionality may change.

Accounts and use

You are responsible for activity on your account and for ensuring that information you record about others (e.g. borrowers) is accurate and recorded with a reasonable basis. The service must not be used to store sensitive personal data or for unlawful purposes.

Your data

The catalogue belongs to the household. You can export everything at any time (Export page). See the privacy policy for processing details.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of uptime or freedom from errors. We are not liable for indirect losses, data loss beyond what backups cover, or for content retrieved from external metadata sources.

Termination and changes

You may close your account by contacting support@koskinen-it.net. We may suspend accounts in case of abuse, and may amend these terms with notice on this page. Norwegian law applies.
